Callbacks will be Saturday February 7th
Audition Requirements:
1) A one-minute monologue appropriate for the show.
2) A musical theatre song appropriate for the show, but not from the show (an accompanist and/or CD player will be provided).
3) Come dressed to dance.
4) Due to the content of the show, 18+ please.
PLEASE NOTE
You must stay after your individual audition slot for a group dance audition. I.e., if you have a 7:00 slot you will also have the 8:04 slot for your dance audition.

About the show:
Rydell High’s class of 1959 will take you through “Summer Nights” in their very own “Greased Lightning”. Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski will resolve the problems of their mutual attraction against a backdrop of pajama parties, proms, burger palaces and drive-in movies.

May 22 to June 6, 2009 on the Victor Mitchell Stage at the Pumphouse Theatre.
Evening Shows: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat at 7:30pm
Matinee Shows: Sat and Sun at 2:00pm
Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals are planned for Saturdays 1-5pm, Tuesdays 7-10pm, Wednesday 7-10pm commencing in February, with Fridays 7-10 to be added in May.
PLEASE NOTE: Front Row Centre Players is a community theatre presenting three major musicals each year. All participants in the process of putting together our shows are volunteers, from actors to directorial team to stage hands to the FRC Board. Cast are expected to be able to help, as needed, with such aspects as move-in, strike, etc.

Audition Requirements:
1) If you are auditioning for a Lead Role, please prepare one song from the show (or optionally one song of similar style). An accompanist will be provided, but keep in mind that any sheet music provided must be easily sight-read. Bringing a music track on CD or Tape is recommended (A CD/cassette player will be provided).
2) If you are not auditioning for a lead, please prepare a musical theatre song of your choice (not longer than 3 minutes).
3) You may be asked to cold read and/or do a movement audition so wear comfortable clothing and footwear that you can move in.

In 1987, the St. Giles Presbyterian Church Choir in Calgary presented a version of "Godspell". The success of this production inspired the performers to create a new musical theatre company.
Thus, Front Row Centre Players Society was born.
