Hope Springs!

Hope Springs! is a spring themed spectacular for the love of community theatre that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home, celebrating all that we look forward to when Front Row Centre Players can return to the stage!

We are seeking singers, actors, dancers, instrumentalists, and any other peformance artists who are interested.

Submission Requirements:

We are looking for submissions in 3 ways:

Open Submissions:

• Mostly upbeat performances, celebrating spring, hope, looking forward to the future
• Musical theatre songs, or other theme-appropriate numbers
• Sing, dance, act, tell jokes, juggle
• Tiktok-style clips of fun spring activities
• Submit your ideas:
  • Submit an approximately 1 VIDEO minute sample of your performance
  • Preface your sample with a slate of who you are, what you are doing, and your vision for the final performance
  • Musical performances will need to use live accompaniment or a personally recorded musician. i.e. no karaoke/professional backing tracks.  For the purposes of your initial submission only, a backing track is acceptable

  • Submissions are due by 2 PM on Sunday April 4th

Pre-selected numbers:

• Group numbers will also be programmed by FRC's creative team
• Participants will primarily be selected from the other submissions
• If you want to be a part of the group numbers but not submit another performance, please reply to this email to indicate your interest before April 4th
• Several types to be chosen for, including non-musical and non-singing parts and dancing
• The material will be provided for you to learn independently with minor time commitment via online social group prior to recording the final product, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday April 6th

Pianists and Instrumentalists:

We are looking for your talents to…

• Submit a joyful instrumental solo, duet, quartet or group number
  • Submit an approximately 1 minute VIDEO sample of your performance
  • Preface your sample with a slate of who you are, what you are doing, and your vision for the final performance
