About the Show

Tumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen, pour yourself a cup of ambition.

We're going back to 1979 when a gallon of gas ran you about 86 cents, shag rugs, pet rocks, and disco were the hottest things around, and it seemed like your whole life existed between the hours of 9 to 5. Back then there was no such thing as office assistants. We were just secretaries! And the boss wasn't interested in no women's movement. Unless of course it was happening under his desk!

Franklin Hart Jr is just one of those bosses: a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot, and three female co-workers, Violet, Doralee, and Judy can’t help but feel pushed to the boiling point and fantasize about killing him. But what happens when one of their fantasies appears to come true? Join FRC for a romp of calamity and mayhem, all to the catchy groove of Dolly Parton’s music, when three women will learn that they can do anything – even in a man’s world.

The band will start rehearsing once a week towards the beginning of September, with our accompanist, Wilma Rothbauer, as the band director.
Specific dates/times to be determined once we check everyone's schedule.
In addition to the show run (Oct 31st - Nov 15th), the band will be expected to be available on the evenings of Oct 29th and 30th (dress rehearsal and preview night).

PLEASE NOTE: For the week prior to opening (i.e. beginning Sunday October 26th), please expect a rehearsal or other activity on each day.
